St Nicholas Clock Appeal

After an appeal in the Leicester Mercury we are pleased that the Freemasons of Leicester have kindly agreed to restore our clock to good working order and to electrify the winding ( which is currently done by hand).

St. Nicholas Roof Appeal

The roof of our south aisle is currently leaking and requires extensive work.
Thankfully, English Heritage have offered us a grant of £66,000 for this work;
however, this grant is conditional on us raising £11,000.

We find we have to rely on donors to assist us in our funding appeal.
So far, we have recieved a donation from Kirby & West (a local company) of £1000.00
another donation of £2000.00 from Coutts Bank
and the St Nicholas Singers have contributed a magnificent £1354.00 which was raised to celebrate Ian Imlays (our Organist) 70th Birthday.

We now need to raise the remaining £6,646, if you feel you could contribute then please email the Webmaster with your address details.
